The format of the document, as defined by its MIME Type. For example, a Microsoft Word document would map to the MIME Type application/msword. DocuShare uses the MIME Type to open a document in the appropriate editor. When a document is uploaded to the server, DocuShare tries to determine the content type. If the type cannot be determined, you can enter the appropriate MIME Type for the document. If you are uncertain about the correct value to enter, see your administrator.
